Are you a part-time or full-time midwifery student?
We have two registrations to be won for each of our live seminars: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane & Perth, and two registrations to be won for our online program.
Attending our seminars is a valuable professional development opportunity for midwifery students. Learn from experts in the field of infant and maternal health, network with other health professionals and expand your breastfeeding knowledge for your studies and future practice.
To enter, simply email training@breastfeeding.asn.au with the following details:
- Full name
- University
- Course name
- Student ID number
- Contact number
- Which location you would like to attend (Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth or the Online Program)
- A 25-word submission, responding to the following prompt:
“How will attending ‘Breastfeeding: A thirst for knowledge’ benefit your professional development?”
This is available to full and part-time midwifery students enrolled at any Australian university. Should COVID-19 restrictions prevent live seminars from running, the registration for the winners of the Live Seminars will be transferred to an online program registration. All entrants should keep their desired live seminar date available, to guarantee their attendance if they win.
Entries close: Monday 20th December 2021 at 5pm AEDT
Winners announced: Monday 17th January 2022.
Midwifery Student Competition Terms and Conditions
1. Australian Breastfeeding Association’s (ABA) judging decision is final.
2. Winning registrations are not transferable to any other ABA event.
3. Winning registrations are not transferable to another person.
4. Winners are responsible for all transportation and accommodation expenses to attend Breastfeeding: A thirst for knowledge
5. Winners must provide their student ID number, university name or other proof of current student status when entering their submission.
6. Winners must be a full-time or part-time midwifery student, enrolled at an Australian University.
7. Winning registrations are not able to be exchanged for a cash refund.
8. Only two registrations will be given away per location (Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth) and Online and for the online program.
9. Winning registrations are not refundable or transferable if the winner is not able to attend.
10. Winners’ names will be published in ABA newsletters, magazines and other training materials.
11. Winners will be required to give permission for ABA to use their image and any feedback for publicity purposes.
12. Should COVID-19 restrictions prevent live seminars from running, the registration for the winners of the live seminars will be transferred to an Online Program registration.
13. Entries close 5pm 20th December 2021. Winners will be selected on the 17th January 2022 and notified via email.
14. Entrants must ensure they are available on the seminar date to guarantee their attendance if they win.
