Katherine is a Senior Lecturer at School of Sociology, Australian National University. For more than a decade, Katherine has applied a social scientific framework to research on human milk donation and banking, and the use of donor human milk in the neonatal intensive care in Australia and the USA. She is currently a Chief Investigator on an Australian Research Council funded study that is exploring motherhood and health service delivery in the context of lactation after infant death.
